Thanks all u guys,I've been trying to stop having b'days for a long time, but every once in awhile it slips out,Papa G is probably responsible for all your congratulations this time,or there may be another reason which I can't talk about just yet, maybe Buckshot & Cherokee Lady can explain when they get home.
Also it's quite an honor to be a life member of your group over there, thanks very much,I've probably got some distant kinfolks over there but I would have no way of knowing but my oldest daughter probably does, she's the one that's been chasing down the Stirling's, when Bob & Margaret were here I forgot to show them the civil war discharge papers I have w/my great granpa's name on them but I did tell them about it,his name was Simeon J. Stirling{his brother spelled it Sterling & his sister spelled it Sturlin] I also have the family Bible w/all the different names writtten in the front-births, deaths,& marriages w/the dates of them,I think the earliest date is in the very late 1700's.

I think it might have been PapaG behind it but it was not him who told me
I am glad you guys had a nice time and I am sure buckshot and cherokee lady will tell us all about it when they arrive back lucky peeps.

Thats a lot of family history you have there

I didn't know it was Jim's birthday.  I would have bought him a cake but I couldn't find one big enough to hold all the candles.

Happy Birthday you Ol' Cowpuncher!

I feel SOOOO relieved now that the truth is known.  Jim says he hates the attention but we all know he appreciated the good thoughts.  Thanks for reminding me about his birthday Cherokee Lady.  I'll be looking for the same reminder next year. LOL
